This eclectic style building is located at calle Riego de Agua and has almost two centuries of history, since it was inaugurated in 1841, although in 1867 it suffered a great fire which meant that it had to be rebuilt in 1868.
The theatre changed its name to the Rosalía de Castro Theatre in 1909, and it was a venue for important events linked to the history of Galicia during the 20th century.
It has a capacity for more than 600 people and can host a variety of artistic performances in music, dance and theatre.
Rosalía de Castro Theatre and Picasso
